Crazy Week!!!!

Man, what a crazy last week!!!  Super huge changes at work that I won't get into on here...but it's resulted in several 11 hour days this week!  I'm exhausted!!  As a result of these long days, I'm once again playing catch up on my blog.  Here we go...bare with me.

Labor Day weekend Calyn, Ben and Lehni came into town.  We hit up the Zoo on Sunday afternoon.  I hadn't been there years, so it was lots of fun.  We even got Lehn's face painted. Check out these shots!

The next weekend me, Judy, Rich, Ashley and Ashley's Chad went on a Bicycle Poker Run in Mascoutah.  It should be called a bicycle bar crawl.  Ha!  I think the actual ride was 2 miles with about 8 bars.  Here's a few pics from that day.

Last Friday I cooked an Oktoberfest dinner for Omi's birthday.  Everything turned out super yummy...even though I opted to not make the spaetzle.

The next day Chad and I headed up to one of our favorite hangouts, Jefferson's, to bid our favorite waitress goodbye.  Boo!  Super sad that she won't be waiting on us anymore, but even happier for her that she just got her first nursing job!  Congrats, Sarah!  We love you!!!  Now you'll be sitting at the table with us causing a ruckus!

A big shout out to Ashley and Chad!  Congrats on the closing of your first home in the Midwest...Soulard!  Can't wait for you two to get settled in, so we can all hang out again.  We miss you guys!  Come visit us on the East Side!!!

No big plans this weekend.  I'm hoping for a super calm weekend in which we can work on the house and also get caught up on work stuff!  TGIF!!!
